Yesterday the Mississippi House Ag committee with permission from Mississippi Farm Bureau and the Humane Society of the United States passed through a strike-all amendment rather than Senator Dearing's SB2821. To see the bill that passed, go Here.
Dog owners in Mississippi have the right to see how their legislators are criminalizing them. Study the language. Think about the unintended consequences when such vague subjective terms are used.
Do this keeping in mind that the legislature in all its wisdom has intentionally and with conscious negligence refused to address Section 97-41-2, the unconstitutional seizure statute that denies every dog, cat, horse and exotics owner due process by allowing the government to permanently take your animals without your ever being convicted of a crime under this upcoming new law.
